Maker: Gorham, Rhode Island, 1901
Description: The tea pot was originally part of a six piece coffee set. The set, a sample that was retailed by Spaulding and Company, was completed May 2, 1901. The tea pot was made by an unidentified maker in 58 hours, and chased by William Fisher for 60 hours. The pot holds 2 5/8 pints, is 7 1/2 inches tall, and weighs 33.8 troy ounces.
Costing records indicate that a second tea pot for the JY set was made during 1903, apparently to add to the set pr to replace the current one. That pot is coded FTQ.
Condition: Good condition. There is a period three letter raised monogram on the side.
